LAUGHING WATER

Laughing Water was a Grateful Dead cover band in Boston, where our busiest years were 1998 and 1999. During that time, we played 62 gigs, including some minor festivals, and we attracted many deadheads to our shows. We have 17 shows available at archive.org, recorded to DAT tape off the soundboard. There is also a small web site with our history here.

Shows I'd recommend:

January 22, 1999 at The Claddagh
(800 people in attendance).

August 22, 1998 at the 2nd Annual Alberti Hurdy Gurdy (all day, outdoor festival - we played for over 4 hours).

August 21, 1998 at The Beachcomber (a classic beachfront club in Quincy, MA). Since we were playing the Gurdy the next day and we didn't like repeating songs at the next gig, this set list is unusual and refreshing.

October 3, 1998 Fiddling at Fox Hill Shipyard (outdoor private party).

October 31, 1998 at The Tsing Tao (Halloween, we played the entire Live Dead sequence).
